The present venue was built with the help of a Sports Council grant in 1974.The club boasts a newly refurbished clubroom an armoury and a 25 meteres smallbore (.22 cal)indoor firing range with capacity for four guns per detail.
In addition the club caters for sports rifle shooting , Air rifle and Air pistol disciplines over a variety of distances upto 25 meters.
We have a wide varity of targets from the standard competion targets to turning and drop down targets.
During March of 2002 the Club held a Challenge competition for local clubs and organnizations to try our facilities and sport. It was GREAT FUN and well received by the competitors, so much so that we would like to hold this event annually!
We extend a welcome to all local residents to come and try our sport ( for very modest cost ) You may surprise yourselves at how much fun it is to get out of an evening and try something new!

How do I get there? I hear you ask,Well we are situated in the J.J.Coupar recreational park which is on Coupar-Angus Road in Blairgowrie near Rosemount. Take the road past the Rugby and Hockey pitches towards the Rugby Club Pavillion (Licensed) and the Rifle Club is 50 metres behind the Pavillion.
We are open for prone rifle shooting on a Tuesday and Friday evenings 7.30pm til 10.00, and for Sports Rifle and Air/C.O2 shooting on Thursdays 7.30 til 10.00 pm.
BEGINNERS ARE VERY WELCOME.

Are you a former club member?
As you will know we had a fire earlier this year which destroyed much of our clubroom.
Although we have replaced much that was lost,we have big gaps in our history that we would like to fill. Do you have a picture or a story to tell us? We would like to develope the Club and Website and you can play a big part in it! Contact us or drop into the club ,you will be made welcome and i'm sure you will be impressed with the new decor!
